Animae

Animae is an Asian-inspired steakhouse in downtown San Diego led by executive chef Tara Monsod. Its kitchen uses a coal-fired oven and Japanese robata grill for seasonal ingredients. The menu reflects Monsod's Asian-American perspective, while the dining room takes design cues from the Pacific Gate Tower above it.
