Chaoyang North Tower (Chinese: 朝阳北塔) is located in Shuangta District, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, People's Republic of China. It is named after the tower's northernmost location among the three towers in Chaoyang in the early years.
The tower lacks explicit documentation in historical records. During extensive maintenance from 1984 to 1992, the archaeological team discovered the rammed earth tower foundations of the Sixteen Kingdoms period, the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty and the Liao Dynasty beneath the Chaoyang North Tower during construction.
