The waterway passes through charming villages where you can moor up for traditional Irish meals and pints in welcoming pubs. The county boasts excellent walking and hiking trails, including sections of the Miners' Way and Historical Trail, which follows ancient paths once used by lead miners. Glencar Waterfall, immortalised in W.B. Leitrim's rich history comes alive through its ancient monuments and historic sites. Parke's Castle, a restored 17th-century plantation castle on the shores of Lough Gill, offers guided tours and exhibitions that bring the area's turbulent past to life. The castle provides stunning lake views and serves as an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding countryside. The town's Georgian architecture creates an elegant backdrop for riverside walks and market browsing. County Leitrim rewards visitors who seek authentic Irish experiences away from crowded tourist destinations, offering peaceful landscapes, genuine hospitality, and countless opportunities for adventure and relaxation in equal measure. ----- [[https://www.connollycove.com/](https://www.connollycove.com/)](https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=QUM4Zm9rUmh1czU1czVyMUpSNEh2TDZkeW4waXxBR3JiS2FrRjBmNExnNVVWN19zSEQ3Ui1yclBHQm1mRTQwNXdKODEzZUl3clNkNWVyWmRSc1Zfd1dRRGF3SVFyOFpSNlJrbzgwVUtRbEdvRm1hX0RQU0ZUNGNMc2RyTWNHeUVM&q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.connollycove.com%2F&v=ipPhk05vtqs) ----- We are Connolly Cove.
